About Us
My name is Georgia but I am also known by other names…….Mom, Sis, TLW, and to three of the sweetest guys, I am Grandma G!! My family and I live in Southern California……..near Disneyland! We have traveled a bit and still are very happy to call this part of the world our home. My husband, Chris, and I just celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary; we have a 27 year old daughter, a 23 yr old son and our sweet little terrier/Schnauzer mix puppy named Marlee...she is now 3yrs old!
I have always had a love of family history and all the wonderful possessions I have been honored to inherit from those I miss so much. Seeing their things in my home gives me happiness and stirs wonderful memories. I love the sense of history, family or not, that owning and displaying vintage items brings to my home!
Collecting vintage items, especially linens, quickly became an obsession with me. I now own hundreds of vintage tablecloths from the 1930’s, ‘40’s, and ‘50’s, hundreds of tea towels from the same eras, embroidered and appliquéd linens and some lovely inherited damask. My passion for collecting doesn’t stop at linens!! I also enjoy Longaberger baskets, autographed books, transferware, tea cups, saucers and teapots, vintage china creamers, depression glass, Prayer Lady figurines and even vintage pot holders and aprons!
Chris and I both enjoy going to estate sales, garage sales and flea markets to choose just the right treasures to sell. Because we will soon be moving into a smaller home when Chris retires, I have to downsize my collections.....oh my goodness, how can I do that?? So I will also be selling from my own treasures as well as purchasing vintage finds to pass on to you!! We are both very picky about what we buy......only the best will be offered at
Grandma G's!
Most importantly, I love the Lord with all my heart! I give Him the glory for all the abundant blessings in my life!!
